As much as buying a new handbag can be a source of great delight, so can rediscovering a classic. Take Chanel's always au courant 2.55. This purse looks relevant any season, and it makes the transition perfectly from ladylike suits to skinny jeans and a blazer. If you don't have one handy, look to any old canvas-strap satchels that have a utilitarian feel, like the ones at Etro and Ralph Lauren, or even It bags of yore, like Balenciaga's Le Dix. A Bottega Veneta woven-leather tote will do, as well as Hermès anything.

The White Shirt
In yet another nod to menswear, the tailored shirt made the fashion rounds. Dries Van Noten showed it with a long gold skirt.
